Organic virgin beeswax, Camassia This virgin beeswax comes directly from a Spanish beekeeper with organic certification and straight from the hive. It is completely virgin with a delicious, intense honey aroma. The only process it has undergone is clarification, which does not remove any of its properties, but simply allows any impurities or foreign bodies that may have come into contact with the wax in the hive during the natural production process to be removed.

Due to the natural production process and the fact that it is completely virgin wax, it should be noted that different batches may vary in colour, ranging from light yellow to dark yellow to brown-yellow or dark brown.

Uses

The uses of beeswax in cosmetics are varied and have a long tradition. It can be used to make cold creams without additional emulsifiers, medicinal ointments, massage bars, lipsticks, make-up pencils, added to soaps, etc. Adding a small percentage to a homemade cream improves its texture and increases its protective function. Warnings

Beeswax acts slightly as an emulsifier and should not be heated too much, as its melting point is between 61-65ºC.

Its use will give our creams more consistency.
