. What are Azukis?

Azukis or red beans are a type of legume food, specifically a type of bean. Although we only associate chickpeas, lentils or white beans as legumes, it is interesting to know how essential it is to incorporate this seed into our diet, along with the rest of its group. You may have heard of them recently: they have been a typical crop in China and Korea for thousands of years but, as is often the case in food, we get a lot of fads and foods that seem to have suddenly appeared, with miraculous properties, and we start to use them in our recipes.

Benefits of consuming Azukis

Recommended method of use

Cook. Leave to soak for 24-48 hours before cooking to reduce the anti-nutrient effects of pulses.

Mode of storage: Store between 4°C and 16°C and maximum relative humidity of 70%.

The packaging is made with the minimum thickness, thus reducing the use of plastics as much as possible. Thus, 60 microns are used, the usual being 80 microns.
